This policy explains how Workshop-Me, a trading name of Lightning Design House Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or engage our facilitation services. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, transparently and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2.What data we collect
We only collect the data we need to respond to you and run our workshops.
- Information you give us — when you register for a free intro session or contact us through our booking form, we collect your name, email address, and any details you choose to share about your team or goals.
- Newsletter / guide requests — if you request our facilitation guide or sign up for updates, we collect your name and email address.
- Usage data — when you browse the site we automatically collect limited technical information such as your approximate location, browser and device type, pages visited and referring source, via analytics cookies (see section 6).
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we do not collect data from children.

We will never sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

- Contract — to deliver a workshop or service you have asked us to provide.

7.How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected: enquiry and booking details for up to 24 months after our last contact; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; and financial records for 6 years as required by UK law. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
8.Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used;
- access a copy of the data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability; and
- withdraw consent at any time.

9.Security & international transfers
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Some of our processors may store or process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses to ensure your data remains protected.
